About

Chanhassen has always been my home.  I attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI, and graduated with my B.S. in Mathematics as well as a B.S. in Spanish for the Business Professions with a minor in Economics.  After graduating from Marquette University, I came home and was fortunate to find a job at the General Mills manufacturing plant in Chanhassen where I worked for 5 years as an Operations Team Leader.  During this time, I was fortunate to buy a house in Chanhassen as well.  I then was hired at a local electronics manufacturing company as the Purchasing Manager and am now the Logistics and Quality Manager and have worked there for 5 years.

This time in manufacturing has taught me a lot about reducing costs/waste while increasing productivity and not increasing costs to customers. It requires looking at the big picture but also not neglecting the details and getting fairly creative.  I feel this is an invaluable mindset when it comes to budgeting and public service.

I met my husband 4.5 years ago.  He had spent his high school years living in Chanhassen as well and it was an easy call for both of us to plan our future here together.  He is a Combat Medic with the MN National Guard and just finished his B.S. in Nursing.

My Family

My husband and I have 2 dogs, Abby and Luna. We enjoy traveling, scuba diving, and playing board games.

We are lucky both sets of our parents live in this town as well.

Rotary

I have been a Rotarian in Chanhassen for over a decade.  Through Rotary I have been able to chair the 4th of July Parade 3 years, help organize Breakfast with Santa, support veterans and their families through the holidays, among many other things.

Wings of the North

Being the daughter of an Air Force Veteran, I grew up learning a lot about military aircraft.  Because of this, I have volunteered with Wings of the North for over 10 years helping with the annual AirExpo at Flying Cloud Airport.  It is something I look forward to every summer.
